About me

 
Hello,
I’m a graphic designer and an illustrator. I am from France where I studied in Paris at the ESAG-Penninghen, school of art and graphic design. I completed my studies with a bachelor in Fine Arts at La Sorbonne. In Paris, I worked as a graphic designer, photographer and an illustrator for 8 years. I was also an art instructor for 3 years in drawing, painting and illustration (art workshop and private lessons).
I moved to San Francisco and now I develop new creations, especially illustrations for children books.

EDUCATION

2009: Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors, University of Paris I,Panthéon‑Sorbonne.
2003: Master of Graphic Design with honors, ESAG - Penninghen, private graphic arts and design school, Paris. 
1998: Baccalauréat (French high school diploma), concentration in literature and visual arts.

WORK EXPERIENCE 

Graphic design and illustration

  • Since 2003: Freelance graphic designer for firm agencies, publishing, web design, cinema, television, advertising and theater.

Filmmakers: Christophe Barratier (Les Tombales), Jan Kounen (99 Francs), Thomas Vincent (Je suis un assassin) and Sébastien Grall (Clara, une passion française).
Production companies: Légende productions, Fidélité, So What Now, Galatée film, Cinétévé, Néria Productions, Valia, Krizalid, Canal J, La Cinquième, France 2, Majestic Force and Yamakazi.
Businesses and publishers: Systar, France Télécom, La Norme Française, Hachette ‑ Harlequin Publishing, Tana Publishing, Agence Gaya, Albin Michel and Olivier Grojnowski.

  • 2004 - 2005: Graphic design for website of the CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research), Paris.

Teaching

  • 2008 - 2010: Art instructor (drawing, painting and illustration). For children ages six and up, teens and adults - Paris art workshop Atelier des Petites Ecuries.
  • 2009: Speaker at seminar on the history of drawing at Paris auction house Hôtel Drouot.

Photography

  • Since 2003: Freelance photographer (travel, portrait, wedding, still-life and fine-art).

Exhibitions and publications :

  • October 2006: Angel’s World, exhibition of work by female artists, organized in partnership with arts organization Girls@Work - held at Paris art-studio complex Les Frigos. 
  • April 2006: Le Chocolat, exhibition organized by Paris design and marketing firm Agence Aquent.
  • February 2004: Portrait of production designer Michel Barthélémy appearing in Magazine Première (special section on the film Blueberry by Jan Kounen).
  • May - June 2001: Photos appearing in article “Pollution as seen by 10 Penninghen students” ‑ Culture Pub Mag.
